Capturing Change Through the Lens of Responsibility

    In the words of Mahatma Gandhi, 'You must be the change you want to see in the world.' As we mark National Clean Up Month and World Clean and Green Week, we confront a critical problem: environmental degradation. Our actions, or lack thereof, have disrupted the natural balance and exposed us to natural disasters.

    Through a photo blog, we showcase our commitment to disaster prevention and environmental conservation. Join us on this visual journey to understand the urgent need for change and the role we all play in ensuring a cleaner, greener future.

1. Coastal Clean-up 

    Here's a photo of our Science and YES-O club officers, including me, along with our dedicated teachers, participating in a coastal clean-up. We believe in the importance of preserving our coastal areas to protect marine life and prevent pollution.

2. Tree Planting

    This photo captures our Science and YES-O club officers during a tree-planting activity. Trees play a crucial role in maintaining a balanced ecosystem, and we're proud to contribute to their growth.

3. Plastic Straw Alternative

    Here's an image of me and my friends using paper straws instead of plastic straws. Making simple changes in our daily lives, like choosing eco-friendly alternatives, can reduce plastic waste and protect the environment.

4. School Clean-Up Drive

    In this image, you can see our fellow Boy Scouts, including me, engaged in a school clean-up drive at ISNHS (Isla Negra National High School). Clean surroundings reduce the likelihood of pollution, ensuring that harmful substances don't leach into the soil or waterways.

5. Conserving Energy by Biking

    This photo captures the choice of biking over driving. By opting for eco-friendly transportation, we reduce carbon emissions and energy consumption, contributing to a cleaner environment and a healthier lifestyle. Biking symbolizes our commitment to conserving energy and embracing sustainable alternatives in our daily lives.
