                          In the heart of Ilocos Sur lies a celebration that embodies the essence of our heritage – the Kannawidan Ilocos Sur Festival. As a proud member of the community, I had the privilege of experiencing its significance firsthand.           Kannawidan, meaning tradition, holds a special place in the hearts of the people here. It's a time when we unite to honor our roots, showcase our culture, and celebrate our identity.           On February 2, 2024, I eagerly joined the festivities, marching alongside my bandmates in the grand parade. As we weaved through the streets, I couldn't help but feel a swell of pride seeing the vibrant floats adorned with local products and craftsmanship.
